Samba Grill Montage

Noosa residents and visitors can now enjoy the authentic taste of Churrasco (pronounced Shoo-Has-Co) cuisine for dinner   with the region’s first Brazilian restaurant at 251 Gympie Terrace, Noosaville.  Samba Grill will serve traditional Brazilian cuisine 6 NIGHTS A WEEK (closed Mondays). Samba Grill is fully licensed with BYO wine also permitted.

The ‘Rodizio’ style of service will be offered where diners pay a fixed, all-you-can-eat price and waiters bring food to customers at several times throughout the evening.  In the tradition of the South American, Guarani indigenous people, and then later the Brazilian Gauchos (or cowboys), prime cuts of marinated beef, pork, lamb, chicken will be skewered then grilled over organic charcoal before being carved at the table and served to diners. Specialty vegetarian dishes will also be available and Brazilian side dishes such as beans, rice, salad and potatoes will be served alongside traditional condiments such as Piri Piri and Malagueta Pepper Oil.

Diners can indicate to staff that their appetite has been satisfied by displaying a red symbol on their table, or a green symbol if they would like to keep the food coming.

A selection of South American and Australian wines will be offered by the glass or bottle with BYO wine permitted (corkage applies).

After seeing how popular Brazilian cuisine has become, it became apparent the cosmopolitan dining scene of Noosa was ready for a bit of “Latin food love.”

Although Brazilian cuisine has been enjoyed for thousands of years, it is really only emerging here in the Southern Hemisphere.  I believe we are only the second Brazilian restaurant to open in Queensland and one of only a handful operating in Australia.

The succulent aromas and flavours of meat grilled over charcoal results in a delicious, slow cooked meal. Then there’s the pure theatre of our assistant Churrasquerios (barbecue chefs) circulating throughout the restaurant, brandishing the skewers and carving meat for guests at the table. It is a feast for the eyes, nose and belly.

Due to the relaxed and convivial style of dining, Samba Grill is expected to be a favourite destination for group bookings and private functions as well as intimate dinners for two.
